Following the incident, Samet Jankovic announced that he had obtained a medical report for assault and that the matter had been taken to court. In a video he released, Hakkı Alkan claimed that Jankovic had demanded 5.5 million TL for a settlement through his lawyers. Alkan stated, "When I said this amount was too high, these videos appeared. The stress of a boss and the stress of an employee are not the same."

RESPONSE FROM SAMET JANKOVIC

Samet Jankovic responded to Alkan's claims, saying, "I wish you success in your new professional life. Everyone knows what you have contributed to me, and I will tell everyone. The fact that you did things to me that you had never done to anyone else shows how much effort I put into this company." Jankovic stated that the compensation amount requested was determined by his lawyers and that the matter had turned into a lawsuit for material and moral damages. He also reproached Alkan, saying, "I wish you had been a little sincere and acknowledged that I spent days and nights working overtime in that office."
